Newport News Crime Line – Week of January 6th, 2020

I’m MPO Brandon Maynard.  The Newport News Police Department needs your help to solve a recent homicide.

On December 14th, 2019 at 9:58 AM, Newport News Police were dispatched to the 800 block of 24th Street in reference to a code blue. Upon arrival, officers were informed of an adult male who was located at a residence and subsequently pronounced deceased. The victim was identified as 31 year-old Andre Grady of the 1000 block of 23rd Street. Mr. Grady also had been reported as a missing person on December 13th, 2019.
