Effective immediately, civil trials are no longer set by Docket Call. The procedure for setting civil trials is as follows:
Any party who desires to have a civil action or cause set for trial will notify the Clerk of Court by filing a praecipe. Only those cases in which a praecipe has been received and filed by the Clerk will be set. After the praecipe is filed, the Clerk will forward a letter to all counsel and/or unrepresented parties requesting that they coordinate their available dates and contact the Judicial Assistant for the assigned Court to set the trial date or a hearing on any exception.
All other matters (i.e., motions, pretrial conferences, pendente lite hearings) shall also be set by contacting the Judicial Assistant for the assigned Court for a date.
